You do not need to fast before your surgery.

If you taking a baby Aspirin ( 81mg)  , please stop it 10 days prior to surgery

If you are on Coumadin,  please let Dr Deans know and we can advise you on what to do prior to surgery.

If you are on Plavix,  you will need to ask your Family Doctor , if you can stop it 1 week prior to surgery. Let our office know if you cannot stop the Plavix .

If you are diabetic, please eat your meals as usual and take your diabetic meds as usual.


Take all your medications as you normally would at home.

Bring a driver as you will not be allowed to drive home from the hospital


Bring your medications  with you and wear loose clothing and a buttoned shirt or blouse
