Xanthelasma

These are cholesterol / lipid deposits.  Please have your family doctor check for cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Even  if they are within the normal range, it is beneficial to take proactive steps to lower the levels  to the lower limits of what is considered normal.   Changing your diet and exercising is a good start.  Increasing the fibre in your diet  is a natural way to lower your levels and also reduce your risks of developing bowel cancer.

A bowl of oatmeal daily has been shown to extremely effective .

Another simple way to increase your fibre and reduce cholesterol is psyllium .
Psyllium can be purchased as Bulk Barn or as capsules .
I would suggest taking all the step to optimize your cholesterol levels prior to removal of the Xanthelasma
as otherwise , it will simply recur.
